| JOINT VENTURE |
Indira Gandhi Ntional Open University (IGNOU), one of the lagest Universities in the world & Munnar Catering College (MCC), the largest Hospitality Education Institute of its kind in India, have decided to collaborate with each other in establishing a Joint Centre of Excellence in Hospitality Education and Training for the purpose of imparting need based, tailor made specialty courses in Hospitality and Tourism in India and abroad.
The following are the main objectives of this collaboration:
1. To enhance knowledge, skills, attitudes and awarness among students in the various fields of Hospitality Education.
2. To undertake joint research activities in the field of Hospitality Education to enrich Students/Faculty with recent developments and also to design and develop the syllabus and curriculum of joint eductional programmes.
3. To undertake and execute all such activities as may be required for the fulfillment of the objectives srated above.
And this has been successfully implemented on the strength of an MoC between the two. |
